Description
The FBT HiMaxX 40 is a 2-way, passive Bass-reflex design speaker (Mid-top cabinet) for sound reinforcement and monitoring. It features a sturdy, gas-injected polypropylene molded enclosure, engineered in Italy. It utilizes a B&C custom designed 320 mm (12”) neodymium woofer with a 75 mm (3”) voice coil and a B&C 25 mm (1”) compression driver with a 44 mm (1.7”) voice coil. It is rated at 500W RMS @ 8ohm, producing a Maximum SPL cont/peak of 127 / 131dB. The dispersion is 90°H x 60°V, and the frequency response is 50Hz – 20kHz. It includes a passive crossover filter featuring “soft-trip” circuitry for full protection of LF woofer and HF driver, and 2 NL-4 Neutrik™ Speakon connectors.
