Description
The control unit is the center of the discussion system which controls the microphones of the chairman and delegate units as well as connects to other audio input and output. It also supplies the power for the CU itself, and up to 50 chairman and delegate units.
By adding one JTS CS-1CH Chairman Unit and up to 49 CS-1DU Delegate unit you can setup your conference system in a minute, no loudspeakers, or mixer needed.
Unlike a traditional system, where each microphone needs a separate cable connected to the mixer console, the JTS CS system uses daisy chain connection: all microphones connected to each other. And then the entire group, using just one cable is connected to the Control Unit CS-1CU.
You also don’t need a dedicated person to control the system. A delegate who wants to speak will press the button, and his microphone is activated. The chairman unit also supports the addition of a “Priority button”, that enables the chairman to control the discussion by temporary or permanently overriding and deactivating all active microphones of the delegate units
The following modes can be configured:
- Open Mode: chose the simultaneously user number (1 to 4 delegates)
- Time Mode
- Override Mode: the system only allows one delegate unit be activated.
- Chairman only mode allows only chairman units be activated.
The unit also provides XLR input with 12V phantom power supply so you can connect and external wired or wireless microphone.
