Description
The Neutrik NP2RX-AU-SILENT is a 2-pole right angle 1/4″ professional phone plug with gold-plated contacts and a red coating. It features the silentPLUG, which automatically mutes (shorts) an instrument (guitar) cable to avoid pops and squeals when changing the instrument under load. The integrated silent switch uses REED-technology and is guaranteed for a lifetime beyond 1,000 mating cycles. This PX silentPLUG has a rugged metal shell enhanced with a rubber cushion overlay for improved shock protection and features a slim design with industry-proven and reliable chuck-type cable strain relief. It is for use with instrument (guitar) applications only, and damage may occur if connected to an amplifier output.
