Description

The Neutrik NC3MXX-EMC is a 3 pole male EMC-XLR cable connector, part of the XX series, specifically designed to provide enhanced RF screening for critical applications in live performance and recording where problems with radio transmission or mobile phones are present. It helps avoid ground loops as there is no LF-shield connection to ground. It features a rugged zinc diecast shell, a chuck type strain relief system for secure clamping of cables, and a boot with a rubber gland for high protection against bending stresses. The connector includes circular capacitors that act as a high-pass filter with a cut-off frequency around 10 MHz, and an EMI suppression ferrite bead between pin 1 and the cable screen to provide a low-pass filter for improved RF rejection.
