Description
The Neutrik NP2X-AU-SILENT is a 2-pole 1/4″ professional phone plug with gold-plated contacts and a red rubber overlay, featuring a silent switch. This silentPLUG automatically mutes (shorts) an instrument (guitar) cable to prevent pops and squeals when changing the instrument under load. It is intended for use with instrument (guitar) applications only, as damage may occur if connected to an amplifier output. The integrated silent switch is based on REED technology and guarantees a lifetime beyond 10,000 mating cycles.
